Merry Christmas!

Christmas was awesome. We had so much fun watching Caden open his presents...and everyone else's. Macy was actually a very good baby all weekend. No crying! It was a Christmas miracle! These two are so wonderful together. They would rather see each other than me! Caden is very protective of Macy. Don't mess with her or he will tell you, "Don't do that! My Macy!" You gotta love 'em.

New Pictures

Caden loves to watch cartoons with his little sister. He is such a good big brother!

Is there anything cooler than footie spiderman pajamas?!

You can't find me!!!

This was so cute! Caden was watching a movie in his room around bedtime and just passed out in his chair.

Yea for Macy, she can sit up all by herself now!

I thought I would repost these a little bit bigger. I love my family so much. I wish I had millions of dollars so Chris and I could just stay home with them all day. Macy is starting to crawl. Last week she had her arms crawling. This week she has her legs crawling. Maybe next week she will put them both together. Caden is such a little man. He counts to ten and can say almost all of the ABC's. There are a few in the middle that he still forgets. A few nights ago during bedtime he said to Chris and I, "Guys! Listen to me. It's not bedtime!" I couldn't help but to crack up. He comes up with some of the funniest things to say. I wish I could freeze him at two years old forever, so that he never grows up.

thanksgiving madness

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and it was pure mania. Macy screamed all day. She screamed while we were getting everything ready to go. She screamed through the entire meal and the rest of the day. She wouldn't let anyone besides Chris and I hold her. She threw up all over Chris. Caden was bouncing off the walls, chasing his favorite cousin Tristan. It wasn't even noon before I decided that I should have hidden a flask in my purse. :) What a holiday. I am thankful for my family and my beautiful children, but sometimes I want to run away!! :)

Here are some pictures of my little monsters. Caden is 2 and Macy is 4 1/2 months. The picture at the top is Chris with the kids today.

Blog confusion

I'm not really sure why I decided to start a blog. I think I was inspired by my friend Lynn to have a place to post pictures of my family. So, I guess I am going to join the millions of other bloggers and hope someone cares to read my inner thoughts.

My children keep me so busy. My friends never hear me talk about anything else. My husband probably wonders if I still know he's there. I'm struggling to find the balance between work, family, home and having anything left for myself. I decided to title my blog "More Than a Mommy" mostly to remind myself that I have to make time for the other people and things in my life too.

Look for pictures of Caden and Macy soon. I will be posting lots of pictures soon.
